The American University of Afghanistan is a new, private, not-for-profit, university. It is a four-year liberal-arts university offering degrees in Business Administration and Information Communication Technology. All classes are taught in English.
Located in Kabul, the university will provide graduates with the professional skills needed to become world citizens and to prosper in the global economy as they help reconstruct Afghanistan.
AUAf is a private university which is financed through grants, tuition fees and donations.
Students will pay tuition and other fees. Scholarships will be awarded to students demonstrating exceptional academic ability and facing financial hardship. A special effort will be made to recruit and retain women.
The University expects to make between 50 and 100 tenders per year, with between 5 and 10 procurement notices posted to the dgMarket website.
