The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Forests for Livelihood Improvement in the Central Highlands Sector Project . The loan was approved 26 October 2006.
The Project addresses the problems of forest loss and degradation and rural poverty in Viet Nam's Central Highlands by instituting sustainable forest management over one third of the country's natural forest estate.
